How to organize your purse.

#1 Empty your bag:

Start by throwing trash away (receipts, wrappers, etc.) and group the rest of the items into categories (wallet items, technology, cosmetics, etc.)

#2 Take advantage of technological advances:

  • Reward cards: Download Apps to keep all your cards in the same place, including all of your coupons. Many stores also have separate phone apps to help you keep track of memberships and savings. You can do the same with boarding passes, insurance cards, etc.

  • Loose change: Save space, take out the bulky coins and don’t carry cash at all.

  • Credit/debit cards: Only carry your everyday cards and ID and switch your large wallet for a simple cardholder.

Apple Pay is accepted at more places than you would think. Finding out if a store or restaurant takes it is just a Google search away.

#3 Use removable purse organizers:

Utilizing a removable purse organizer is a way to customize the pockets you need, add structure to a floppy bag, and also allows you to switch to a new purse without losing your system. It will keep everything categorized and easily accessible, which will make your daily life easier.

 #4 Use pouches:

If you are like me and change your purses often this system is amazing! Using clear or mesh pouches to contain your items allows you to grab it, insert and go! You can see everything, and you can verify if everything you need is inside. Every time you change your purse just take out the pouch and insert it in the new purse. It doesn’t get better than that!

#5 Organize your cords:

Use a cord wrap or carrying case and store in a separate pouch or compartment. A pocket pouch or portfolio also will help keep your chargers, headphones, and devices in the same place, and prevent the cords from tangling.

 #6 Accessorize your keys:

Color code your keys and make it easier to identify. A colorful keychain with a long tassel makes your keys easy to spot in your bag. You can also go minimal with a keychain with a clip and attach it on the inside compartment.

#7 Practice daily maintenance:

Make a habit of spending 5 minutes each day to reorganize and remove the items you don’t need anymore. Daily please! :)
