Weekly mini projects: Bathroom

If you divide your organizing strategy in weekly mini projects, it is possible to be organized. Just focus in one space or area at a time. A bathroom is a great space to start. Let’s get started!

You will almost always be organizing your items into these groupings:

Face

Hair

Dental

Bath + Body

Eye

Makeup

Hair Tools

Cotton Swabs/Rounds

Backstock

Travel

Depending on your space you will almost always will be using these categories.

Start with a drawer!

Focus on the one you use the most every day. Start by clearing the drawer. In a drawer use inserts to store items by category. Make sure to secure a few dots of museum gel to the bottom of each insert so they stay put. Many products that are found in a bathroom come in a box or bag that is extremely awkward to store. To maximize space, it helps to remove items from their original packaging, especially backstock items, and store them within drawer inserts, bins, or canisters. Some examples include tubes of toothpaste, extra toothbrushes, cotton swabs, flossers, tampons, and razors.

Under-the-sink

The under the sink space can be quite challenging but there are options. Add a turntable, clear drawer bins and canisters to create functional storage in this space.

Elevate your shelves

Get rid of the toilet paper packaging and assign one shelve. You can also label each shelve. Organize your towels spa like. All white and well folded. You will obtain a nice clean look.

As you can see there are plenty of options to start your weekly mini project.

Style-it! :)
